Today we started all of our advent activities. First thing this morning the boys opened up their first book. It was "The Night Before Christmas".
Sterling was more interested in the tree than the book.
Then the boys opened the first stocking. It said our activity of the day was to make gingerbread houses.
The boys were super excited!
For some reason Pierce licked each piece of candy that he put on his house.

(Never mind all the construction in the background! Daddy is working like crazy to update our fireplace before Christmas.)
Before bed the boys read the first Bible story listed on their Christmas chain. Each night they read the listed story from their "Jesus Storybook Bible". All the stories lead up to the whole reason for the season...Jesus' birth! I forgot to get a picture, but I will tomorrow.
