Camping Indoors

Today Beckett and I had the great idea of going camping.  We set up the tent in the middle of the living room.
We spent the day snuggling, reading, and playing in the tent.
Even Daddy joined in the fun at lunch time.
Another fun day at the Lundes!

Playdough Playdate

Today a few of our friends came over for a playdough play date.
The kids made kool-aid playdough and
then had lots of fun playing with it.  It smelled great too!! :)

Grandpa and Grandma

It is great to have Grandpa and Grandma around.
They have been super helpful with the boys lately.  Daddy and Mommy even got to go on a date last Friday night, while they babysat.  Which meant that Beckett had lots of books read to him! :)

First Time on Skates

Yesterday Beckett had his first experience on rollerskates.  He went to his friend Lauren's birthday party at the roller rink.
I thought Beckett might be a little too young, but he showed me otherwise.  With some help from Daddy, he made his way around the rink several times.

Pretend Cooking with Real Ingredients

I found a fun activity on Pinterest and thought I would give it a try with Beckett. It was pretend cooking with real ingredients.  Beckett was dressed for the occasion!
I laid out a blanket with tons of cooking tools.  Then in cupcake tins put some fun ingredients, like ground coffee, rice, sugar cubes, nuts, etc.
Beckett got right to work, adding a pinch of this
 and a scoop of that.
 What fun!
 Doesn't his soup look delicious?!?
Just when he thought the fun was over, I broke out more supplies to make cupcakes.
I thought the activity was going to be a huge mess, but everything stayed right on the blanket making it quick to clean up.  Beckett played for more than an hour.  We might have a little chef in the making.

Last Few Days

Here are a few pics from the last few days...

Yesterday the boys and I went on a walk.  Pierce was nice and snugly on the stroller ride.
Beckett took along his friend, Bert.
Beckett showing off his craft from storytime.
Beckett and Josiah enjoying some homemade pizza.
Since Dr. Seuss Day is right around the corner, Beckett and I did a little Dr. Seuss counting with fish.
Here is a little video of the activity...
This morning we pulled out the playmat for Pierce.
Big Brother was right there to show him how to play.

Playdough Time

Today Beckett and I decided to entertain ourselves by making our own playdough.
Beckett spent almost an hour playing with his newly made playdough.
While Beckett played, Pierce lounged around.  Here are the boys in action...

Mr. Bath

At the Lunde house, Daddy is "Mr. Bathtime."
Every night he gives the boys their baths.  Pierce loves relaxing in his little spa.
Beckett is the King of Splashing!
What a nice way to end the day. :)

All Better

This weekend I finally recovered from the kidney stones.  It was a nice relaxing weekend, hanging around the house.

Pierce at 6 weeks old.
This picture shows Pierce on his snuggly bear.  He laid there for over 20 minutes this weekend.  This is the longest he has ever sat content.
 Yay, Mommy is better!

Beckett and Mommy on a run!  Beckett will tell you that he is "very fast!"

Stones, Stones Go Away

These silly kidney stones are still hanging around, so we have spent the last couple of days snuggling in bed.  We sure have a full bed these days!
Daddy took the last couple of days off and played the role of Mr. Mom.  He did a great job!
There gave been lots of quiet, relaxing activities going on in the Lunde house.
Pierce has been a good baby.  I think we are finally working out his tummy problems,
And Mr. Beckett continues being a big boy and using the potty.

Not So Happy of a Valentine's Day

The morning of Valentine's Day started off well.  Daddy was out of town on business, but Grandma had spent the night with us.  Beckett brought her a Valentine present first thing in the morning.
Mommy made heart shaped banana pancakes.  What a great day!  Right?!?
Actually no.  After a good start to the day, I started having pains in my back and stomach.  Grandma rushed back to the house and took me to urgent care, where we found out I had kidney stones.  This was the worse pain I have ever felt.  And yes, I just had a baby 5 weeks ago!!  Luckily we had Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie there to help with me and the boys.  What a blessing they were!  Grandma deserves more than a few flowers for the way she helped us out.
Daddy flew home today and we were sure excited to see him.
We sure missed him.  Man, things fall apart in the Lunde house when he is not around!

Valentine Adventures

Today we went to a Valentine's Day party.  At the party Beckett made a mailbox for all his valentines.
 Here is his final project...
Our good friend, Holly, was a huge help with Pierce.  He loved her and did not scream too much! :)
At the party there was an art table where Beckett made some more cards.
He had lunch with his good pal, Claire.
Then it was his favorite part of the party.  He got to deliver all of his valentines.
When we got home we opened up all the valentine cards.  Beckett's favorite card was from his pal, Silas.  The card was a picture of Silas with a mustache and he included a mustache for Beckett!  Now Beckett sorta looks like his grandpa. :)
Well of course Pierce wanted in on the action too!
Daddy is out of town for the next couple of days, so Grandma came over to spend the night with us and help out.
She even helped with bath time!
