Today we received the cutest package in the mail.  Matching personalized blankets for Pierce and Beckett.  How cute are they?!?

3 Weeks Old

Today Pierce is 3 weeks old.

 It seems like he was just born, but also that he has been in our lives for a long time!

Today we finally left the house for a playdate.  Beckett and Millie played dress up with superhero costumes.

When we were in Medford last, Beckett had lots of fun helping GG feed the birds. Do you think she has a big enough bag of birdseed?!?

 Beckett spent the afternoon with Grandpa and Grandma last Sunday.  He helped Grandpa put together a shelf.

 The other day our fridge went out, so we went to Grandpa and Grandma's house for dinner.  Beckett enjoyed a cup of tea with Grandma.

Pierce's Two Week Check-Up

Today Pierce had his 2 week check-up.  He has surpassed his birth weight and now weighs 8 pounds, 8 ounces.  We talked to the doctor about his fussiness/crying.  He seems to cry a lot!  Mostly during the day and then at night he is the best baby, sleeping most of the night.  She thought he might have a little colic or possible acid reflux.  We made an appointment to go back in a couple of weeks to see how things are going. 

Potty Training Update

Potty training continues in the Lunde house.  Beckett has been doing a great job!  He has the peeing in the potty down, but the other area we have been struggling a bit with.  Then all of a sudden the last two days Beckett has gone number two in the potty!  His reward...getting to watch part of Toy Story and a sucker!  This is a HUGE deal to him.  Hopefully we continue on this postive note. 

Getting Cabin Fever

Brookings was in the middle of a coastal storm this past week.  The boys and I had not left the house all week and were getting cabin fever. 

 We decided we had to make our own fun!  Beckett's 2nd birthday is right around the corner, so we practiced blowing out candles. 

Beckett has been pulling out his swim clothes and asking to go swimming.  So what better place to go than the bath tub, right?!?

This entertained him for almost an hour!

 Pierce kicked back and relaxed, while trying to avoid the splashing.

 I think we have read every single book in our house this week!

Then there have been moments of pure craziness!

 Finally this morning there was a break in the rain, so we dashed outside for some fresh air and bike riding.

Lazy Few Days

The last few days have been stormy, so we have all snuggled up and stayed indoors. 

Pierce is quite the sleeper.  He sleeps for about 6-7 hours at night, which Mommy and Daddy appreciate immensely!

Beckett is a wonderful big brother.  He loves to check on Pierce and help Mommy with him.

 Beckett is quite the artist these days.  Nana, thanks for the awesome art easel.

Safety First

Last night Grandpa and Grandma came over to give Beckett an early birthday gift.  They got him a Cars helmet.

And a matching bell for his trike!

The first thing Beckett wanted to do this morning was ride his trike, with his new fancy helmet.

Then he wore the helmet for the rest of the day.  Apparently it is not just for trike riding!!

Fun Friday

Our Fun Friday started with Beckett digging through the cookbooks, looking for a good breakfast recipe. 

 Today we gave Pierce a bath in his new tub.  Beckett made sure the temperature was just right!

Today Daddy stayed home with us and we had a great day!  Both boys found their way into our bed this morning.

 Brotherly Love

 Beckett and Daddy were due for a much needed hair cut.  Today Beckett sat in the chair all by himself and got his hair cut.
