Thanksgiving In Sunriver

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Sunriver.
The boys loved the house we stayed in.  It had a nice cozy fireplace that they helped Grandpa build fires in.

A lot of snuggling took place during the vacation!
And reading too!
Thanksgiving morning we ran a turkey trot.
Sterling was bundled up for the trot.
 Racing Around Sunriver
Daddy and Beckett ran extra far to make room for turkey!
In the afternoon we swam at the SHARC.  Marshall has not enjoyed baths or water lately.  So when we got there, he clung to Momma.
But eventually he got over his fears
 and had a great time!

After all that activity, it was time for turkey dinner!
Marshall enjoyed Auntie's green snow A LOT!
After dinner, Daddy read to the boys about Thanksgiving.
During the trip, MANY games were played.
Pierce discovered the game Battleship and loved it.
Yay for early morning Dogopoly.
Grandma, GG and Auntie
On Friday there still was no snow in Sunriver.  But that did not stop us from sledding.
Sterling was too little for the sledding hill, but he enjoyed playing in the tubes.
Daddy and Pierce (he is buried in his tube!)
No Snow, No Problem

There was a playground we played at.

The Village was decorated for Christmas.
Checking out the map...
One evening Sterling went on a walk with just Daddy and Mommy.
He LOVED his special time!
The Lodge was decorated beautifully.
We walked around and saw all the lights.
Then we saw Santa!  Marshall was super excited!
The boys told Santa what they wanted for Christmas.
Looking at Lights
By Saturday it still had not snowed in Sunriver.  We had brought all our snow clothes and sleds.  So Daddy decided to find snow.  We drove about 20 minutes towards Mt. Batchelor and found a great sledding hill.

GG, Grandma and Marshall watching the boys.
Beckett got going pretty fast!
So Much Fun
Auntie helped out Pierce.

Snowman Time
The whole family worked on making the perfect snowman.
Teamwork
Even the snowmen were cheering the Beavers on!
The Lunde Family
No trip to the snow is complete, without a snowball fight.
This cracked Marshall up!
Pierce was throwing snowballs, while eating them too.
Daddy got in on the action.
Christmas Craft
Marshall loved playing with Ditsey Dog.
