Day at the River

Today we spent the afternoon up the river at the Ells house.  Right outside their house is the river and we were able to watch the salmon jumping out of the water. 

 The kids loaded up in the canoe

 with Bonnie and went for a little ride. 

 Mommy went for a ride too.  It was amazing to sit in the middle of the river and watch the fish jump out of the water around us. 

 Daddy and Pierce kicked back on the bank. 

 They tried to get in the water, but it was a little too chilly for Pierce. 

 Then Brave Ol' Daddy swam across the river and jumped off the big rock. 

BRRRR...

 Pierce and Liam played in the sand and ate a little too. 

 Beckett and Nathaniel went for another canoe ride. 

 Fun with Friends

 After all the river fun, we headed up to the house

 for a little picnic dinner.

 Beckett ended the night with the ladies in the hot tub. :)

Visit with Nana

This weekend Nana came to visit us. 

 The boys had so much fun playing with her. 

 It was a gorgeous weekend, so we spent most of the day outside on the deck. 

 Daddy kicked back and hung out with Benny the Beaver. 

 Then we ended the day by busting out the moustaches.  We only had four, so good thing Grandpa already had one. :)

Bark for Life

This weekend we dressed in our Beaver gear for Beaver Game Day and headed to a local fundraiser. 

 The event was Bark for Life, which was raising money for American Cancer Society. 

 Everyone walked in the parade with their dogs. 

 Our sweet friend, Bonnie, was in charge of the event.  She did a great job!

 Pierce was kicked back in the stroller and took it all in. 

 Beckett and Momma posed for a group picture with Ellie. 

New House

This weekend Beckett got a new house...a playhouse!  He cleaned it all up and

 then invited Ellie the dog over to play.

Playdate at the Park

On Thursday morning, the boys and I headed to the park

for a playdate with all of our friends. 

 Each mommy brought an activity and snack to share. 

The kids had so much fun with their friends 

and the activities.

A fun project was the apple stamping on burlap.  Super cute. :)

I found a recipe for cloud dough on Pinterest and filled our water table with it. 

 The kids loved it, especially Pierce. 

 Beckett liked the car painting

 and Liam loved the paint. :)

 And the mommies loved the fun too!

Dentist

This morning I had a dentist appointment, so I brought Beckett along with me.  He had so much fun.  The staff was so sweet to him and showed him how everything worked.  He even got to ride in the chair a few times.  When we went to leave, he looked sad and said he wanted his teeth cleaned.  I explained that this time was just to watch Momma get her teeth cleaned and next time it would be his turn.  He left with a smile on his face and a toothbrush in his hand. :)

Adventures at the Park

The last few days the sun has been out and that means we have been able to go play at the park. 

Lately the boys have been great about playing together.  Here they are playing "Ice Cream Shop".

 Yay for sunshine.

 The swings are Pierce's favorite. 

 And Beckett likes them too. :)

Today we met our friends for another day of fun. 

 Big Brother and Little Brother

 Even though Mr. Pierce thinks he is big too. :)
