Boat Ride

This afternoon we headed to the lake with the boat

that Nana got Grandpa Frank for Father's Day.

Daddy took the big boys out first.

Then Daddy came back and picked up Sterling.

Next it was Grandpa Frank's turn.

Watching from the Shore

Then Nana went out for a ride.

Momma and Marshall watched from the shore.

Beckett swam in the lake.

Then Nana rowed the boat to the boat launch all by herself.

We ended the day with a yummy dinner out.

Track Meet

Last night we went to a kids track meet.

Beckett got 2nd place in the 50 meter dash.

Pierce showed us he was ready to race!

Sterling even ran in the 100 meter dash, with a little help from some friends!

There was a long jump

and softball throw.

Beckett was determined to run in the mile race. He finished with a 9:42 and got first in his age group.

Pierce said he wanted to run in the mile race too. We said ok but to stop when he was tired.

This kid ran and ran. When he was finishing his third lap and some of the older kids had finished, I said, "Yay! You are done."  Pierce said no that he still had one more lap!
