First Day of School

Today was Beckett's first day of kindergarten.  He woke up excited and ready to go!
 Beckett said goodbye to Pierce
 and Sterling.
Then it was off to school.
Daddy took the morning off to be there with Beckett.
Good thing because it was a hard morning for Momma to let this little one go.
Beckett met up with his teacher, Mrs. Stecher,
 at the morning assembly.
Then it was off to his classroom
to start the day.
Beckett said it was a great day.  His favorite thing was recess.  He did say he got tired at lunch and was thinking about coming home and resting on the couch.  At the end of the day, Beckett got to ride the bus home.  He was excited that the little boy that sits next to him in class, road home on the same bus.
These two were SO excited to see big brother!

Soccer

Beckett's First Soccer Practice with Coach Daddy and Coach Greg...You know you have pretty awesome friends when they volunteer to help coach your kid.

Target

The boys were so excited to get $50 each in the mail from grandpa and grandma, for finishing their 1,000 books read.  They want to go to Target right away!
Pierce knew what he was going to get before we even got there. Beckett on the other hand looked at every toy aisle at least 5 times before he chose how to spend his money.
These were two very busy, happy boys all afternoon!  Pierce got his Paw Patrol Training Station and Beckett got Legos and a Rescue Bot.

Weekend in Newport

We spent the weekend in Newport.

The boys were super excited to be with family!
Breakfast Time
We spent a lot of time at the beach.
Cousin James lounged in the stroller,
while the big boys played in the sand
and the mommas relaxed in the chairs.
Sterling Lou
Sweet Snuggles (this does not happen too often these days!)
The boys had fun watching the dads fly the kites.
Cousins
When we were not at the beach, we were at the pool.
Sterling found a life jacket that worked well for him.
This kid LOVES the water and is doing an amazing job swimming.
Cousin Mason
Piercey-Pie
Cousin James got lots
and lots of attention from the boys.
Uncle Steve and Sterling
The boys wanted to roast marshmallows, but it was too windy.  Instead we played "Fuzzy Bunny" and tried to see who could put the most marshmallows in their mouth.
So Fun
Daddy was the winner!
Bath Time is always fun in a big bathtub!
Sterling seems so much older these days.
There were some beautiful sunsets, while we were there.
Headed for the beach again!
Ellie the Dog came too.
Look at that look!
Uncle Neal made a big hole, with seats in it.
Auntie Tera and Cousin James

Sterling walked Ellie for us.
Reading Books
