Advent Calendar

Mary and I made advent calendars the other night.  We were feeling quite crafty!
 Here is our final project...
Tomorrow is December 1st, the first day of our advent calendar activities!  Let the fun begin!!

Big Things Happening in the Lunde House

This week Papa Dan has been visiting us.  Beckett got a potty seat a few weeks ago and hasn't had much interest in it...that is until Papa Dan came!  The last three days Beckett has gone potty in his little potty.
The boys have had so much fun together!
Lots of books have been read.
 Beckett and his two papas...
Today we went to the library to check out books and play.
Beckett listened to the story with Papa Dan.
After story time the boys worked on the craft.
Beckett is still learning to share with his friends!  Not pictured well here. :(
This afternoon we headed to dance class.
 Beckett and his pal, Josiah
This evening the Moffits came over for dinner.  The Moffits are cousins to the Lundes and live here in Brookings.  Small world!
Beckett and Neo loved listening to Allie read them stories.

Trip to Portland

For Thanksgiving, we headed up to Portland.  Beckett was quite the helper with packing.
While we were in Portland we saw lots of family, including Uncle Brent.
Also we had our family pictures taken.
Of course we had to hit up a few of the big sales early Friday morning!
The big news of the weekend was Uncle Brett and future Aunt Heidi asked Beckett to be their ring bearer in their August wedding.

Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving morning we headed out to have breakfast with Grandpa Dan, Great Grammy Lunde, Uncle Brett, Heidi, and Aunt Dolores.
Beckett enjoyed the breakfast and loved his little table and chair.
Grandpa Dan and Beckett had lots of time to play together in the kitchen.
Then we headed to Nana's house for Thanksgiving dinner, where there was more family time.
Beckett got to play with all of his cousins.
Here is Chef Nana and Daddy...
 Dinner was delicous!
 A great day with family!

Zoo Lights

On Friday night we headed to the Portland Zoo to look at the Christmas lights.
There were so many lights for Beckett to see!
The main reason we went to the zoo was to ride the Zoo Lights Train.  Trains are one of Beckett's favorite things these days.
Here is the family on the train...
It was a fun night!

Civil War 2011

On Saturday we headed down to Eugene, for the Civil War game.  Before the game we hung out at the Monster tailgate.  Of course there is always one Duck fan in the group!
 At Autzen Stadium,
where we watched U of O play OSU.
Even though it was a sad game to watch, we had a blast hanging out with the Olsons.

A Few Pics...

Today was Beaver Game Day!  Daddy was tired of watching Beaver football and seeing so many loses.  So today he dressed Beckett in Beaver basketball gear, since they are a winning team.  To our surprise the Beavs pulled out a football win this afternoon!!
 Beckett and his baby balloon
Looks like someone is getting ready to be a big brother!
Beckett and Grandpa at the Chetco River
The boys were checking out the fishing, but in this picture it looks like Beckett was checking out Grandpa's ears!

Baby Shower for Pierce Oliver

On Saturday Baby Pierce Oliver was given a baby shower.
The shower was hosted by Grandma and Auntie Carolyn.
Lots of great friends came to the shower, to help celebrate Pierce.
Of course Grandma had to throw in a few shower games, such as "How Big is the Momma?"
Some people played nicely, while others did not! :)  Barbara must have thought I was huge!!
We received many nice gifts, from great friends, who did not let team differences get in the way.
A few of the gifts Beckett found (like the teddy bear play mat below) and thought they were for him. :)
Thanks everyone for making the shower so special!
