Off to the Snow We Go...

Beckett has been asking for snow all winter long.  He had read so many Christmas books about the snow that he got a little confused.  On Christmas morning he woke up and ran to the window and said, "Oh no!  Where is the snow?"  Apparently he thought the two were connected.

When we were invited to go to Sunriver with our friends, we jumped at the chance to take the boys to see the snow.  On the drive over to Bend, Beckett woke up from his nap, spotted the snow for the first time and yelled, "I found it!  I found the snow.  It's amazing!"  Man, I love that kid. :)
Pierce was not too sure about the snow at first,
but then started to have fun with his pal, Nolan.
 Beckett wasn't too sure either,
but in no time he was off playing.
The kids sprayed the snow with all different colored water,
went sledding on the small hills around the house,
and had snowball fights with the daddies.
It is all fun and games
until someone gets hit by a snowball. :(
The daddies worked on making a beautiful snowman for the kids.
 Beckett liked him!
While we were in Sunriver, the Beavers played in their Bowl Game.  The kids dressed in their OSU gear, grabbed their snacks and kicked back to watch the game.
Go Beavs!  Even though the Beavers lost, we all had a good time.
The kids enjoyed the trip so much.  They got to watch movies
 with their best friends,
eat lots of yummy dinners together,
 and even go swimming!
One morning we dressed the kids in their swim trunks and snow boots and headed for the indoor pool.
 The boys loved it!
Pierce played with the water fountains,
while Millie and Beckett swam around.

 Kickin' Back
Anything Oliver did, Beckett wanted to do.  Luckily the Olsons had an extra pair of goggles. :)

These are the kind of fun things you do for your kids that will provide lasting memories for them! You two are such good parents for Beckett and Pierce and you have a circle of very good friends to share the enjoyment. We love you! Papa and Mimi
