Happy New Year!

On New Year's Eve we started the day off by going to the sledding hill. 

 We made it! :)

Beckett kept saying he wanted to go by himself, so we let him.  The first time down the hill was a little scary,

but then he got use to it and had a great time!

After being in the 14 degree weather, we decided to warm up at the bakery with some donuts and hot cocoa. 

Beckett decided that a big donut like that was better shared with a friend!

Then it was time to go home and ring in the New Year. 

The daddies,

mommies,

and kids put on their party hats for some fun!

We knew it was not in the best interest of anyone for the kids to stay up late, so we decided to celebrate the Rio New Year (which was at 7pm).  Daddy explained to the kids what we were going to do and boy were they excited!  We counted down, while watching the ball drop in Brazil. 

A little cheers with some sparkling cider.

Then the adults struggled to stay up until midnight for the real New Years! :)
