Happy 4th of July

This morning Beckett participated in the Children's Fourth of July Parade.  His trike design was "Daddy's Lil' Firecracker."  On the back he had two fireworks that said "Snap" and "Crackle" and Daddy wore the "Pop" one. 

 Daddy helped guide Beckett through the parade. 

Beckett received a participation medal from one of the military men.

 Beckett won the award for "Best Trike."  He was a little shy in accepting his prize. 

 He won a 4th of July ball!

 After the parade we headed to Azalea Park for a 4th of July BBQ.

 We enjoyed "a little" watermelon! :)

 And fun times with friends!

 There was a dance performance at the park (you can see if you look really carefully in the background), but Beckett decided to put on a little show of his own. 

 Beckett and Daddy rolled like logs down the hill. 

 This evening we headed to Grandpa and Grandma's house for a BBQ.  The guys played a little baseball. 

 Then Grandma and Beckett had a little egg hunt.  Maybe Grandma was confused on what holiday it was!! :)

 Instead of ending the day with fireworks, we ended our day with MORE packing.  A few more days until the big move.
