Beckett's Birthday Extravaganza

On Thursday, our little boy turned 5! He woke up to a doorway full of balloons and streamers.

 Beckett has been asking to go to a hotel to swim, so in the afternoon we headed down to Medford to stay at a hotel.

 Pierce was excited!

 Sterling was not too sure about the pool,

 

especially when Daddy swam around with him.

 Pierce was quite the swimmer.

 In the evening we headed to Grandma's house for Beckett's birthday dinner.

 He opened his gifts.

 Then it was birthday dinner time!  Beckett had requested bacon, sausage, salad with croutons and strawberry smoothies.

 While we were in Medford, we stopped by to see GG.

 On Saturday we headed to the Chinese New Year parade, in Jacksonville.

 The boys were excited to see all the dragons.

 After the parade, the boys made some crafts.  It is the Year of the Ram, so Beckett made a ram puppet.

 We enjoyed an afternoon walk.

 It was so sunny, we had to pull out our shades.

 Beckett used his birthday money to buy a Lego set.
