Letter J

Last week we worked on the letter J.

"Look, Mom!  I can make a J too!!"
Our number of the week was 10 and we continued working with the shape of diamond.
Our scripture of the week was John 14:6- Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, except by Me."

Our devotion was J for Joy.
 Pure Joy
This week we read the parable about the talents.  We talked about making sure we used the gifts that God gives us.  Beckett shared that his gifts are being helpful and taking care of his brothers.

We painted our hands and then numbered our fingers.
Beckett was super excited when he discovered that 5 +5 =10.  All week long he asked people if they knew what 5 +5 was.
 More Number Practice
(Which is much more fun in costume!)
 J is for Jigsaw Puzzle
 J is for Jump
We made a jumping game out of tape.
Pierce worked on his alphabet train puzzle.
Sterling was right there, learning along side Pierce.
 J is for Jello
 We made number cards
and sticker cards with the corresponding number of stickers on them.
Then the boys matched them up.
By the end of the week, Beckett had memorized our address.  He called several people to tell him his address. :)

J is for Jelly Beans
What a great way to celebrate learning the letter J.
