Surgery Day

Today was surgery day for Mr. Beckett.

This morning we headed to Kaiser bright and early, since Beckett was the first case of the day.
The care at Kaiser was amazing!  Beckett was excited when they gave him a menu of items he could pick from, to make his day more special.  He picked an extra blanket and video game.
They even gave him a couple of gifts.
Pierce and Sterling received gifts too.
While Beckett was in surgery, Daddy and Pierce explored outside the hospital.
This kid is getting so big!
The surgery went great and there were no complications.  The first thing Beckett said when he woke up was that he wanted to the video game back.  The poor kid could barely open his eyes and hold up his head and he was asking for the game.
Once we got back to Nana's house, we set up a comfy recovery area.
Pierce said he wanted to be the nurse and help Brother, but he ended up wanting to be a patient and enjoyed the treats and movies.
Within a few hours of surgery, Beckett was walking around and even dancing a little.
What a trooper!
