Camping Trip

This weekend we went camping at Humbug State Park.

 The boys helped Daddy set up camp

 and then we headed straight to the beach. 

 The beach was super close to our campsite.

The boys were excited to visit a new beach.

 Pierce enjoyed his favorite past time...throwing rocks.

 Even though the campground was less than an hour from our house, the temperatures were much warmer.  The boys had fun cooling off in the river. 

 Pierce sure loves his daddy.

 

While we camped, we fished,

 played games,

 Beckett went to a Jr. Ranger class on animal identification,

and picked lots of blackberries

 (which Pierce ate).

 

The boys were excited because camping meant they got all the yummy snacks that Mommy does not typically buy.

 Once it got dark, we broke out the flashlights.

 Beckett used his to look into an animal hole.

 Camping is always an adventure with these two.
