Beckett's 3rd Birthday Party

Today we had Beckett's 3rd Birthday Party.

It was a Lego themed party.
We had lots
  of Lego decor,
 all around the house.
Ready to party!
We decided to have a waffle bar, so Daddy spent the morning cooking up LOTS of waffles.
When our guests arrived, there was coloring,
a Lego guessing game
and lots of Lego building.
 Lego Fun
Then it was time for waffles!!
We had 10 different types of toppings for the waffles
and Beckett made sure to have lots of them!
 Waffle Time
 Digging In
Then it was time for games.
The first game was a Lego Tower Contest.  The big kids got the little Legos to build with.
The in-between kids built with Duplos (a little bigger Legos).
And the babies built with the Megablocks.
The kids showing off their towers.
Then we had a spoon and Lego race.  The big kids got little spoons with little Legos.  The middle kids got big spoons with big Legos.  And the little kids got a cup, with a Lego. :)
Our third game was looking for the yellow Lego men that were hiding around the house.  If you look closely, you can see the one on the wall corner.
Once the kids found a Lego man, they turned it in for a pinata bag.
Daddy made a pull string pinata.  On the third pull,
all the candy came tumbling down!

The big hit of the party was Beckett's Lego cake.  It was beautiful!
Beckett beamed when all the kids sang "Happy Birthday" to him.  So sweet!
This is Melissa, who made Beckett's cake.  She did an amazing job on the cake!  She even had the cake match the color of the frosting, of each square.
 YUMMY!
We had so much fun, with all of our friends and family that came to celebrate!
Each kid went home with a coloring book and homemade Lego crayons.
Happy Birthday, Beckett!
 What a fun party!!

How fun was Beckett's 3rd Birthday Party??? WOW - Nicely done Alicia and Grant! No detail left behind. It appears everyone had a grand time, including of course, the guest of honor - Beckett himself! We miss you all! Love, Papa and Mimi
