Our Little Beckett Boy turned 3 today! This morning he woke up to find his bedroom door covered in streamers and balloons.
Then he enjoyed a birthday muffin and even got to blow out a candle before 7am! Beckett did ask us to sing him the birthday song twice.
This year we started the tradition of letting the birthday person get to choose the evening meal. Last night Daddy chose crab cakes for his dinner and tonight Beckett chose pizza. He even assisted Mommy in making it!
Then it was present time. He had been looking at his gifts all day. When he finally got to open them, he was so excited!
Grandma brought over some yummy birthday cupcakes. Cupcakes are what Beckett had originally asked for his dinner to be. We explained that cupcakes could be his dessert, but he needed to choose more of a meal for dinner. :)
Pierce sure loved Grandma's cupcakes.
Then we played with a few of Beckett's new gifts.
And ended the night with a story from Daddy!
We feel so blessed to have had 3 years with this precious little boy. He is truly a special kid!
