This morning the boys opened up another book. It has been neat that each day the book has connected with another part of the day (which I did not plan!). Today the book was about the wise men following the star, to see Baby Jesus.
And then our advent activity was to open a gift,
which was a nativity.
The boys LOVED the nativity scene!
The scene had a light up star, which played music. We were able to talk about the star and the wise men from the book.
Beckett asked where Baby Jesus was. We told him that he will be coming soon...only 20 more days! Then he looked on the nativity box and said, "There he is!" :)
Our scripture chain verse from today was from Luke 1:76-77- And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins.

Our nativity doesn't have the cool trees on the side. You picked a good one! :)
