Yesterday Marshall had his 2 month check-up. He now weighs 12 pounds, 15.5 ounces and is in the 70th percentile for weight. He is 24 3/4 inches tall and is in the 98th percentile for height.
We had noticed a few days earlier that Marshall had a bump on his body and had assumed it was a hernia. When Mommy showed the pediatrician, she was concerned and sent Mommy and Marshall to the ER. Marshall was not too sure of the whole ordeal!
After being there for 3 1/2 hours, Daddy was able to come join us--thanks to Auntie and Nana! In the end we had 8 hours at Doernbecher's ER, a couple of wheelchair rides, 2 ultrasounds and very tired baby and parents. They discovered it was not a hernia, but rather an inflamed lymph node.
Today has been a day of rest and thankfulness that Marshall is ok! We go back to the pediatrician next week for a follow-up.
