Last night we rang in the new year with the Olson Family.
We brought over some sparklers for the kids to enjoy.

Even little Pierce got one.
He took off like a rocket when Daddy handed him one.

I think most of the time was spent having the daddies light them. Each sparkler did not last long.

We started 2014 with a hike
at Whaleshead,
to the beach.
We ran into some friends down there. Lauren and I are due one day apart.

We think that Beckett is going to be some type of manager when he gets older. He always has big ideas and then puts everyone ELSE to work gathering supplies and making it.
