Week with Papa

For the past 10 days, Papa has been visiting from Florida.

 

The boys have helped Papa in the kitchen 

 with making dinner

 and enjoyed his tasty treats (root beer floats).

 

One morning we headed to the park

 where we had lots of fun.

 Another morning the boys headed to the river

 to do a little fishing.

 Papa showed Pierce a few pointers.

 This afternoon we headed to the beach.

 The sun was shining, so we all put on our shades.

 While we were at the beach, we did a little "treasure hunting"

 and explored the tide pools.

 After beach combing, the boys worked on building a sand castle.  Well, at least the big boys did. 

 What a great week we had.
