Washington

While we were in Portland, we took a quick trip across the border to visit Washington.
First stop was the Water Department Educational Resource Center.
Daddy had read that there were a few fun things for the kids to do there.  There were a few, but we quickly decided to move on to another attraction.
 Next stop was Fort Vancouver.
The gardens outside of the fort were beautiful.
 Daddy and His Boys
Once we got inside Pierce told us where he wanted to go.
The boys were excited to go to the top of the Bastion,
where they found a cannon.
Then we headed to the Fur Warehouse
where we saw all the furs and how they shipped them.
Then we headed to the Chief Factor's Residence and took a peek at the historic house.
But still, the cannons were the hit of the fort.
Time to Go
On the way out the boys made some wishes
 and blew.
Then we headed back across the Columbia River, to Oregon.
Once we got home, we marked Washington off our family map.
Where should we go next????
