Chicago Children's Museum

One evening we headed down to the Navy Pier, to the Chicago Children's Museum.
We were cracking up when Beckett headed straight for the fire fighter exhibit.
Is this the same kid who started crying at the fireman birthday party last week?!?
 He dressed for the part!
 Ready for action!
The water exhibit was lots of fun.
There was an area where you could paint with water.
Beckett has been very interested in letters lately.  Every time he sees a B he says, "There's my name!!"  At the museum I painted a B and then he painted one.  I thought it looked pretty good!!
 Water Fun
 So much to explore!
They had a craft activity of coloring wooden eggs.  What a neat souvenir to take home. :)
 We played
 and played
 and played some more!

The Tinkering Room was the hit of the museum.  It was a room full of tools and junk.  The kids could build whatever they wanted.  So much fun!!
