Trip To Southern California

Beckett, Grandpa, and I headed over to Medford last Sunday, to fly out to Southern California. We stayed with GG for the night and then the next day we headed out to the airport. Beckett was happy to be at his GG's house and play with all her things.
On Monday we got on our plane and headed down the runway. Halfway down they put on the brakes and took us back to the terminal. They ended up cancelling our flight and rebooking us for the next day. Beckett was very sad as you can tell! :(
The next day Beckett was up and ready to try it again! We finally made it to California to see Beckett's Great Grandpa Conrad and Great Grandma Donna.
Beckett's middle name comes from his Great Grandpa Conrad.
Beckett found Great Grandpa's sandals and had fun putting them on. One thing both of them have in common is their big feet! Maybe Beckett will end up with size 13 shoes, like Great Grandpa.Four Generations On Wednesday we celebrated Great Grandma's 83rd birthday at Universal Studios. Beckett met the bunny from the new movie Hop, but he was a little scared of him. Then we went on the tour of Universal Studios.
On the tour they took us in a tunnel and had 3D King Kong and Godzilla come out. They shook the bus and it was a little scary. I was worried it would scare Beckett, but he was fine. His eyes were a little big, looking at the crazy creatures.
Beckett enjoyed the 4D Shrek show.
Beckett and I even posed for a fun Shrek pic! Then the rain started to come down. We all bundled up in ponchos.
What cute sisters, even in the rain!! There were no baby ponchos, so Beckett and I shared. He did NOT like it one bit. The whole time he was pulling at the poncho to get it off. Finally he ripped it completely. Once he was free and getting soaking wet, he was happy! On Thursday we went and saw Beckett's Great Great Grandma Juanita. Yes, that is two greats!!Here we all are with the beautiful quilt she made for Beckett.
Juanita's next door neighbor had animals and Beckett absolutely LOVED them. Grandpa even taught Beckett how to make horse noises. Monkey see (or hear!), Monkey do.
Then we headed back home. What a great trip, seeing so much family!
