Evergreen Aviation Museum

This afternoon we headed down to McMinnville to visit the Evergreen Aviation Museum.

Sterling gave his thumbs up for the museum.  He squealed and pointed at all the airplanes the WHOLE time.
 Beckett liked the helicopters.
There were lots of airplane seats around the museum to sit in.
 Marshall took it all in.
 Checking out the Cockpit
Looking at the model of the Spruce Goose
 Early Flying Machines
The boys were amazed by this.
The Spruce Goose in the background.
 Inside the Spruce Goose
The Spruce Goose- this was hard to get a good picture to show how big it really was!
 Pilot Sterling
The kid area was super fun!
 They had a flight simulator.
 lots of riding airplanes,
 airplanes to play in,
 helicopters too!,
 and a WWII Battle Simulator.
 Heading off to Space
They even had a carnival ride.
 The big boys flying high!
 Look at this rocket!
 Lunar Landing Craft
 SO FUN!
 More Helicopters
Outside there was an airplane themed playground.
 Enjoying the Sun
This made me laugh and have to take a picture.  With ALL the stuff around us (rides, giant airplanes, rockets, playground, tanks, etc.), what made these boys stop was a small worm wiggling along the ground.
 Lunde Boys
 An Amazing Facility
 Under a 747 Jumbo Jet
WOW! The boys are under there somewhere.
 Just Sitting on a Tire
The boys are growing up so fast, but seeing them next to giant planes still makes them seem small.
