Today we celebrated Beckett turning one. We invited some of Beckett's family and friends over for lunch and to play.

There were lots of fun friends there!!
Even Beckett's GG came dressed in her Dr. Seuss hat. 
Beckett was a little apprehensive about his first cupcake. 
We were planning for a big mess and this was the worst of it. 
We played "Pin the Hat on the Cat."
And then the real Cat showed up! 
And he even brought us all hats to wear.
Then Cat read everyone a story. 
Most of the kids liked it, but there were a few hiding in the other room. :(
Even Grandpa and Uncle Neal liked the story and hats. 
Beckett had lots of presents to open. 
He was more interested in the kids than the presents.
Eventually he opened a few.

What a great day! We are truly blessed to have been given this addition to our family one year ago.
