Celebrating Grandma

On Thursday we went down to Medford, to celebrate Grandma's birthday.
Grandma got the boys the Bob Books Collection.  Beckett was excited to read the books to Grandpa.
 Mr. Marshall
Pierce and Grandma played some board games,
while GG and Beckett played some pool.
Marshall just cooked up some food in the play kitchen.
On Friday morning we took a hike in Jacksonville.
 Sterling was quite the hiker.

 Sterling and Grandma
 Grandpa and Piercey
After the hike, we headed to the local ice cream shop.
While we were in Medford, we got to see GG.
The boys picked out a special cake or Grandma.  Look at all those gumballs!
 Ready for Some Cake!
The boys were right there to help blow out the candles.
 They blew
 and blew
and blew. Silly Grandpa and his trick candles!
Beckett asked if he could lead a Bible Study.
So everyone got out their Bibles.
 Marshall got a sink bath,
with the help of Pierce.
 So Fun!
The sun finally came out, so the kids could swim.
They would spend everyday in the pool, if they could!
On Saturday we went back to Jacksonville and took the trolley to the Children's Festival.
 Ready to Play!
 Looking so big these days!
 These two!
Our first stop at the festival was gold mining, of course!
 Finding Treasures
Marshall took in all the sights from the backpack.
The festival was held at Britt.
 The boys tie-dyed.

Sterling had his first snow cone.
 There was face painting.
 Oh my!
 Mustache Twins
 Beckett chose a shark.
 Chomp!
Pierce was a Ninja Turtle.
 The kids made bead bracelets.
 Working Hard
 Sweet Marshall
 Pierce built a barn
and Beckett was not too sure what he built???

As we were leaving, the Queen of the Festival was knighting kids.  Sterling got a big crack up out of this!
