WARNING...Picture Overload!
On Thursday we headed to the airport for a family vacation in Cabo, Mexico.
Grandma came along with us, so we took up a whole row on the airplane.
The resort we chose was kid friendly. The second we got there, the boys were ready to swim!
They had a water slide.
Pierce loved it!
Sterling was not too sure about it!
There was even a Noah's Ark water area.
Grandma and Marshall watched from the edge of the pool.
Sterling liked the smaller water slides better.
Marshall was a wonderful traveler. He would watch the boys play for awhile and then nap.
The boys loved the big pools too!
Here is a picture of the resort...
On Friday after breakfast we headed to the beach.
Marshall
Sterling was definitely a daddy's boy this trip.
Pierce was extra careful in the water, with double floaties.
Beckett was a water dog. He swam without a life vest most of the time.
Splash!
Beckett is ready for swim lessons next week.
There was lots of entertainment at the big pool. On Friday they were doing a water balloon catching contest. Little Pierce got up there and participated.
He wasn't able to catch the balloon,
but they still gave him a shirt for trying!
Rough and Tough Sterling had lots of bumps and bruises on the trip. He banged his head several times, cut open his chin and ended the trip by getting stung by a bee.
But he was still happy!
Beckett practiced snorkeling in the shallow pool.
Momma and Her Boys
One evening we played at the beach.
Cheese!
On Saturday we walked about 15 minutes to the little town of San Jose Del Cabo.
Pierce hitched a ride on the stroller.
Marshall hitched a ride on Daddy's back.
Twinsies
San Jose Del Cabo
First stop was the ice cream shop.
A nice cool treat!
We did a little shopping and the boys got some instruments and sunglasses. They were super hot, so we decided to catch the local bus back to the hotel.
On the Bus
Wahoo! We made it safe and sound back to the hotel.
Saturday was Children's Day in Mexico, so the resort had tons of activities for the kids. Pierce got his face painted.
Then they had a party!
With cake and everything!
There was a donut eating contest.
There was a cart that came around and made fancy kid drinks.
Sterling wasn't into the activities. He was just into being with Daddy.
Marshall preferred being under the umbrella.
More Slide Time
Sweet Brothers
The boys and Momma went to the beach and bough bracelets from a vendor.
So Cool!
Then in the evening they had a Children's Dinner, with food that the kids LOVED!
On Sunday we decided to take a trip into Cabo.
This meant another walk to the bus stop.
This bus was much nicer! And Beckett felt like it was safer too!
CABO
Beckett met a pirate
and felt a cactus.
We headed to the beach,
where we swam in the ocean,
kayaked
and played in the sand.
Sterling was squealing in delight.
These Two!
Grandma, Momma and Beckett took the kayak out.
Sterling absolutely loved the water the whole trip.
The Boys
Family Sand Time
We took a glass bottom boat out in the ocean,
which Beckett was excited to see all the fish.
Looking at the Fish
Grandma and Piercey
The fish were beautiful.
Then the boat took us out to the arch and the end of the peninsula.
The Arch of Cabo
Marshall checked out the fish too.
The boat driver threw in lots of bait and the fish were everywhere!
After all the beach fun, we went to The Office for lunch.
Back at the hotel was more pool fun. This picture cracks me up because it shows brotherly love.
Daddy and His Boys
The boys kept saying how much they loved Mexico and wanted to know when we were coming back.
On Monday we spent the whole day at the resort.
We celebrated Mother's Day a little early with Grandma.
Yay for Grandma!
Then the boys went rock climbing.
This was fun to watch!
Beckett wanted to keep doing it over and over again.
Piercey even got the hang of it.
He was so excited when he made it to the top.
Sterling lounged with Momma at the pool,
while the big boys got ice cream.
Beckett discovered the game of ping pong and now is asking for a ping pong table!
Marshall got in the pool a few times on the trip.
More Slide Races
On the last night Momma and Daddy got to go on a date,
while Grandma and the boys ordered room service.
Sterling ordered a steak
and Beckett enjoyed his giant burger.
One of the boys' favorite parts of the hotel was trying all the different foods and getting to choose what they ate.
Sterling pretty much ate everything.
What a great trip! We couldn't have done it without Grandma's help!
Silly Pierce
Daddy and All His Boys
On the last day, Grandma got the boys matching Cabo shirts.
After 6 days of fun, we had some very tired kiddos on the plane ride home.
