On Friday we celebrated Beckett turning 6!
Grandpa surprised Beckett at school by being the mystery reader. The teacher gave 5 clues to the class and then the students had to guess who they thought it would be. Grandpa's clues were...
1. Baseball is his favorite sport.
2. He likes to ride dirt bikes.
3. He is an electrician.
4. He likes to gold mine.
5. He likes to go salmon and steel head fishing.
Beckett guessed that it was his grandpa. Grandpa read the kids "Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site".
Even Sterling and Pierce were able to hear the story.
Afterwards Beckett's teacher invited us to stay for reading time. Beckett read to Grandma
and so did Sterling.
While Beckett was at school, Grandma, Pierce and Sterling made Beckett his cake.
Beckett had requested a five layer cake, with worms coming out of it!
While those guys were baking, Mommy spent the afternoon in Beckett's class teaching an art lesson.
After the lesson, we had cupcakes in the classroom.
For Beckett's birthday dinner, he requested Costco meat pizza, oranges, pickles and brussel sprouts.
After dinner we opened gifts.
Beckett wanted "work out clothes" and a nerf gun.
Grandma and Marshall watched all the gifts being opened.
Beckett was SOOOOO very excited that Grandpa and Grandma got him an RC car. He named the car "RC" and spent the rest of the weekend playing with it.
Very Serious Guys
Blowing out the Candles
Beckett loved Grandma's creation.
Beckett ended the day in bed, snuggling with Ditzy Dog.
Here is Beckett's birthday interview at age 6...
