A Case of the Sickies

This week a case of the sickies hit the Lunde Household.  Beckett started getting sick on Monday night,
 followed by Piercey
 and then Sterling Lou.
At this point Marshall has been quarantined, hoping to have one child saved from this nasty bug.

4 Month Check-Up

We just had Marshall's 4 month check-up.  A little late, I know!  He weighs 15 pounds 4.5 ounces and is in the 40th percentile for weight.  He is 27.5 inches long and is in the 98th percentile for height.
What a blessing he is to our family!

Beckett's Basketball

Here are some fun pictures of Beckett's basketball season so far...

At the beginning of each game, the coaches
and kids run out of a tunnel with smoke!
Beckett says he is enjoying playing basketball.
The program he is in has been fabulous!  The kids are learning the basics, having fun and focusing on Christian principles.
Sterling and Pierce love half-time because that means they get to shoot on the court.
The first couple of games Beckett was passing the ball every time he got it.  When Daddy talked to him about it, he said he just liked to share and his teammates were asking for it.
After a little coaching, Beckett has started taking it to the hoop.  This week and last week, he shot a basket each game.  At the end of each game, the kids are given a star to iron onto their t-shirt.  The stars are different colors and represent different aspects of the game.  Beckett was so excited that last week he got the gray star for offense.
This week's game he got the "star" for defense.
 Cheering Brother On!
A favorite part of the game is the team meeting at the end, where the kids get their stars and snacks.
Sterling likes to play with the "big kids" during this time!

Civil War Game

Tonight Daddy and Beckett went to the Civil War basketball game, with a couple of our Duck friends.
Beckett enjoyed the game AND his giant bucket of popcorn!
These two are quite the little buds! I guess in the end, it doesn't matter what team you are rooting for!

Mommy and Pierce Date

For Christmas, each of the boys received date gift certificates in their stockings. Today Pierce got to use his "Mommy Date".  He was up super early. I asked him why and he said he didn't want to miss our date.
He chose to go to Red Robin for pizza and lots of lemonade.   We had a record number of potty trips on our date.
Pierce was so happy!  He talked a mile a minute and asked if he could sit on my lap until the food came.
After Red Robin, we went to the pottery place.
Pierced loved the activity and asked if he could have his birthday party there next year!
Such a sweet, sweet time with this sweet, sweet boy!

Pie Face

For Beckett's birthday, he got the game Pie Face.  Unfortunately the card on the gift got lost, so we are not sure who gave it to him.
The boys have been begging to play it!  So last night we played...
 Splat
The boys were all smiles, as they had whipped cream thrown in their faces.
Lots and lots of whipped cream was consumed.
 Sticky Fun
Sterling wanted to play at the start, but once he saw how the game worked he did not want anything to do with it.
 So Messy!
 Pie Face!

Morning at the Zoo

Today Beckett had the day off from school, so Momma and the boys headed to the zoo.
Marshall rode facing forward in the stroller for the first time and loved it.
He was able to see everything going on.
Sterling was his buddy in the stroller.
At the end of our time at the zoo, a zoo worker asked the boys what their favorite part of the morning was.  Pierce replied, "All the friends I made."  He was referring to the animals! :)
 Growing Up Way too Fast
The boys were excited to go to the new elephant exhibit.  The elephants were out, but the boys still loved watching the tractor.
 A Favorite
The little guys were content to ride in the stroller and watch
the big boys run around and play.
 Sweet Marshall
Beckett's favorite exhibit was the Naked Mole Rats.
 Hippo
Before we left, Momma had the boys just run.
The rain has kept us cooped up in the house, so this was an awesome time and place to get all our wiggles out.
Such a great morning with the boys!
