4th of July

4th of July 2015

 In the morning we headed to a local trout farm, to do some fishing.

 We enjoyed some donuts,

 Daddy got the poles all set up,

 and then off we went!

 The boys were super excited to start fishing.  You could see the pond full of fish!

 They fished

 and fished

 and fished.  For 2 hours to be exact! 

 But no luck!  The owner of the pond said no one was catching fish because of the heat.  She encouraged us to take a net to catch some.  Beckett thought this was a great idea and Daddy said no way!

 Sterling was more interested in the cows than the fish.

 After fishing, we went to the park for a picnic

 and to play!

The boys cooled off in the splash pad.

 In the evening we lit off some fireworks.

 This was the first year we bought a pack of fireworks and Beckett was super excited!
