Letter L

This week we worked on the letter L.

 These two were excited about another week of preschool.

 We focused on the number 12

 and the shape of a heart.

 Our verse of the week was, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' Matthew 22:37

The devotion was L is for Lying.

 L is for Licking Lollipops

 The boys drew different things that started with the letter L.

 Beckett has been wanting to work on words.  So we got out one of the games I used in my old classroom and Beckett started building words.

 He made 13 words, using 2 different endings.

Beckett spent an hour working on matching symbols with letters, then finding the secret message.

The fireplace project continued this week.  Grant finished dry walling the top half and then chiseled out the old hearth.

We went to the Willamette Falls Locks.

 The view was hard to see from the bridge, so we took an elevator to the top to see.

We have a serious leaf problem at our house!

 Daddy worked on blowing off the roof and gutters, while the boys and I raked them into piles.

 One yard debris bin and 10 bags later, only the small side yard was picked up!

 We had two play dates with fabulous ladies from Brookings.
