Pearl Harbor

While we were in Hawaii, we visited Pearl Harbor.
Beckett showed where he was on the map.Beckett and Dad with the USS Arizona Memorial in the background. Great photo from the memorial.

North Shore

We visited the North Shore to see the big waves and surfing. It was a beautiful day. Beckett enjoyed the beach.
Here is a short video from the beach...

Hiking a Crater

One morning we thought it would be fun to go for a hike. Grant found a trail at Diamond Head that started inside a crater. The trail started off easy, but then became challenging quickly. The steep switch backs and hundreds of steep stairs were quite the workout! At least Grant was still smiling, even though his legs were shaking a bit. :)The top of the crater had a decommissioned military lookout. Yay, we made it! :) View from the top...

The steep steps going down were much easier!

9 Months Old

While we were in Hawaii, Beckett turned 9 months old. On the trip his second tooth came in and crawled for the first time. It was a busy trip!!

Trick-or-Treating at Dad's Work

Today Beckett went treat-or-treating at Dad's work. For Beckett's first Halloween he was a cute, cuddly puppy. There were lots of kids at the office to look at and play with.
Beckett took the light saver away from Yoda and did NOT want to give it back!

Nap Time

Here is a cute picture Beckett's grandma took this morning, when she was babysitting him. His face looks so much older in this photo!

Beckett Blowing Bubbles at Bathtime

Tonight Grant filled the tub a little higher and Beckett quickly realized he could reach the water with his mouth. Beckett continued his campaign for swim lessons, by showing us that he wants more exposure to the water!

Carving Pumpkins

This afternoon the family gathered to carve pumpkins. Beckett was a little unsure about feeling the inside of the pumpkin.
Auntie Tera and Uncle Neal working on their pumpkins.
Grandpa Dana working on his pumpkin. He doesn't mess around!
Even though Beckett did not carve a pumpkin, he liked playing with the tools.
Beckett loves his Auntie!
The Lunde's and their pumpkins
All the pumpkins together.
Ta-da! We finished!!
