Mommy's Birthday

On Wednesday Mommy turned 33.  Daddy had some family over for a fiesta.

 He even got an ice cream cake.

 After the cake the kids had fun in the yard.

 Mommy received some pretty special gifts

 and flowers.

 But the best gift of all came today.  Daddy let Mommy sleep in.  Nana and Daddy took the boys out to breakfast, so the house was nice and quiet. 

 Yummy!

 Afterwards they headed down to the river to watch the boats.

 What an awesome daddy and hubby! 

Road Trip

Last week Momma and the boys took off on another road trip,

 while Daddy was out of town on business.  Here he is in front of one of their retailers with a tamale...

 

The boys and I went to Brookings to see Grandpa.  The boys were so excited that the plums were finally ripe to pick.

 While we were in town, we went to our favorite lunch spot...Panchos.

Also we were able to get together with some sweet friends for a morning coffee date.

 No trip to Brookings would be complete without...

 a trip to the beach!

 Beckett found lots of sea treasures,

 played in the water,

 and in the sand.

 We LOVE the beach!

 

While we were gone, Sterling made sure to do tummy time. 

 On Thursday we headed up river

 to play.

 The Olsons got new kayaks

 and the boys were in heaven!

 Sterling lounged in the shade, while the big kids played.

 Before we left, the boys played in the yard with Grandpa

 and helped him plant some new flowers.

 It was great to be back in Brookings.

Trip to Medford

From Brookings we headed over to Medford, to see Grandma and GG.

 Sterling was a great traveler on the trip over, but he was certainly happy to be out of the car!

 The boys were super excited to swim once we got to Medford.

 

It was over 100 degrees, so the pool felt great.  

 Sterling kicked back with GG and watched us swim.

 Beckett and his cousin, Kallie, were little water dogs.

 Pierce has no fear of the water.

 Sterling eventually got in, but was no too sure about it.

 On Saturday we headed to Emigrant Lake.

 The boys brought their water toys

 

and were ready to cool off in the lake.

 Pierce was more interested in shooting the ducks than playing in the water.  Future OSU fan???

 Beckett loved the air mattress and spent the majority of the time floating around.

 It was a little too warm for Sterling, so he rested in the shade.

 Grandma brought us a picnic lunch.

 After all that fun at the lake, the boys came back and watch a movie with GG.

 "Want a sandwich, Sterling?"

 The boys were loved the end of the day, when they got to read stories in bed with Grandma.
