C&K 5K Fun Run

This morning C&K had their first annual 5K Fun Run. Daddy and Grandma both participated.

Beckett patiently waited at the finish line...

Creative Movement Class

Beckett and I are taking a Mommy and Me Creative Movement class. As you can tell by the picture, he is always a little apprehensive at the beginning of the class.

Beckett's good friend, Josiah, is in the class too.

In the class he is learning his right from his left. Also they are focusing on learning their body parts.

First OSU Game of 2011

On Saturday we headed to Corvallis, to watch OSU take on BYU.

We met up with the Phipps family and tailgated before the game.

Even Uncle Eric, the OSU freshman, stopped by our tailgate to say hi!

Beckett was enamored with the game. He was quite the fan, cheering the Beavers on.

The two little guys were wonderful the whole game. You would never know that the game went right through nap time. :)

Beckett's favorite thing was all the goodies in the suite. Maybe it was Momma's favorite thing too!! :)

Apples from the Orchard to Cider

While in Eugene we went to a local orchard to pick some apples and pears.

Beckett and Momma searched for the perfect pear.

And we finally found it!

Today we took our lug of apples (22 pounds for all of you that know farmer terms like that!) and went to the Chetco Valley Museum for cider making.

They had an apple press from the 1800's that they were using.

Beckett was very interested in the cider process.

All the apple leftovers...

Out of the 22 pounds we got a little more than a gallon of cider! Seems like a lot of apples to me. :)

On Friday night, the Lundes stayed in Eugene for the night. Our first stop was Five Guys Burgers. We had heard all about this yummy burger place and wanted to try it out for ourselves. It was delicious!

Since there are not any zoos in Eugene, we took Beckett to the next best place...Cabelas.

Beckett had fun trying out the equipment, especially the portable shower.

There were so many animals to see.

When we got back to the hotel, we decided to take Beckett swimming. Boy was he excited!!

Pumpkin Patch

Today Beckett and I met our friends at Flora Pacifica, to get some pumpkins.

The kids had their wagons and were ready to fill them.

Beckett searched and searched for the best pumpkins.

The mommas sat back and relaxed, while the kids chose their favorite pumpkins.

Halloween Dilema

This year for Halloween we bought Beckett a cute monkey costume. He has been terrified of it and cried both times we have put it on him. We did NOT want to buy him another costume, but were not going to make him wear a costume he didn't like. Tonight we tried again with the costume and had success! Ellie, the dog, was a big distraction and he was fine in the costume.
