Library Time

Every Wednesday Beckett and I go to story time at the library.  After the songs and books, they have a little craft activity.  Beckett and I usually leave at that time, but this week I decided to see if he would be interested in the activity.  He LOVED it!

Surprise in the Mail

Today we had a surprise in the mail box.  Great Grandma Naomi made a new hat for Beckett!  He was very excited to try it out, while we were playing in the backyard.

Hanging Around the House

Beckett and his grandma have been working on baby sign language.  Beckett has learned one sign and it is "more."  This picture shows what the correct "more" sign is.  By the way, that is not Beckett in the picture!

Here is how Beckett says "more"...

Beckett's has lost interest in breaking into the bathroom and moved on to his mom's bedroom.  Our bedroom is the one room in the house that I do not like him to play in and he knows it.  Here he is running away from his mom...

Whoa, Ready for Business!

This morning I found Beckett in his dad's closet.  Each morning he sits with his dad, while he gets ready for work.  Apparently he has picked up on how to get ready for work!

Date Night

Last night was Date Night, so Mom and Dad got to go out to dinner all by themselves!  Beckett had his Grandma and Grandpa over to play with him, while they were gone.

 Beckett loves his cars and showed Grandpa how they all worked!

Just the Boys

Beckett and Dad spent Saturday afternoon together, while Mom got her hair done.  The few hours were filled with lots of activities.

 Activity #1: Hot Dog Eating Contest at Rays

 Man, that's a lot of hot dogs!  Too bad Beckett didn't get any.

Then the boys headed home to relax, after all that excitement. 

Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired

The Lunde's are sick again!  This month has been full of running noses, coughs, and feeling yucky!!  We have been sleeping a lot and trying to get better. 

Today Grant has announced that it is Lunde Rest and Recovery Day.  Hopefully by tomorrow we will all  be feeling better.

This morning we went to church. Beckett and Dad were looking pretty sharp in their matching sweater vests!

After church we went hiking on the Coast Trail.

Beckett was a great navigator, telling Dad which way to go!

It was a beautiful day.Taking a break on the trail. Ellie finally got in a picture. :)

Planter Boxes

While Beckett and I were out of town last week, Dad made us planter boxes for the backyard. Today our project was finishing up the boxes and filling them with soil.

The last few days Beckett has really enjoyed running around the backyard and playing.
