Practice Makes Perfect
After an hour long t-ball game, this kid wants to come home and practice. Taking after his Uncle Eric.
Last of the Alphabet...Y & Z
Our verse of the week for Y...
Our devotion...
Practicing writing the letter Y...
Pierce wanted to work on the letter P.
Our final verse of the week...
Our devotion...
This kid can write all his uppercase and lowercase letters, along with the numbers 1-20.
We are still working on the BOB reading series. Beckett loves to read to Pierce,
but our little Pierce has been observing and listening. Now he can read the first couple of books!
Workbook Time
Beckett has been working on some basic addition, subtracting and graphing. He says he LOVES math!
This is what preschool time looks like at our house...
Beckett reading, Pierce doing puzzles and Sterling enjoying a snack.
Whew! A-Z is finally complete!

New Windows
This was the front of the house when we moved in. We knew we had quite the project on our hands, but I am not sure we truly understood what was all involved.
We started with cleaning up the landscaping. About a month after moving in, the front windows seals started to break.
We knew we needed to have them replaced, but it was definitely a job that needed to be contracted out.
New Windows
It is amazing the difference, with temperature and noise.
Next up was the 6 other windows throughout the house that needed replacing.
Grant decided it was a job that he would tackle, along with Sterling's supervision.
Still Smiling
Putting the Finishing Touches On
We now have all new windows throughout the house!
Another loss of energy factor in the house was this giant sliding glass door. When you sat next to it, you could feel the air coming right through the door.
Yuck to the Old Door!
Daddy, along with his awesome brothers, installed the new slider.
I can already feel our heating bill going down!

Welcome Home, Daddy!
Today was a warm sunny day in Portland. So we filled up some water balloons
and waited for Daddy to get home.
Pierce was ready to attack!
While the boys waited,
the got a little distracted and had a water balloon fight.
So Fun!
Then Daddy arrived home....

The boys were ready to fire their bucket of water balloons.
Sterling even got in on the action.
Daddy is such a good sport, even in his dry clean only clothes. :)

Tball
The last couple of weekends, our family has enjoyed watching some t-ball games.
Batter Up, Beckett!
Beckett's Cheering Squad
After the last game I asked Beckett what his favorite part of the game was and he said the snacks at the end.
So this week, he was very excited when it was our turn to bring snacks for the team.
Warming Up
Headed for Home Plate
Sterling and Great Grandpa Frank had fun together.
T-Ball Madness
Thanks for coming to the game, Grandpa Frank and Grandma Naomi.
