Trip to Seattle

This weekend we went to Seattle to see our Olsons.  The kids were so excited to see each other.  Beckett and Ollie started a band,

Evie and Pierce shared a snack
and Millie tried to teach Sterling how to crawl.
The main event of the weekend was the 10 of us going to the Mariner game
at Safeco Field.
The kids were excited to have their own row.
 Beckett and Millie
The Lunde Boys
 Pierce enjoyed the Moose popcorn.
They gave out Mariner towels at the game.
Ollie should have won the award for the most enthusiastic fan.
What game is complete without cotton candy?!?
 Go Mariners!
 Millie and Matt
 Daddy and Sterling
Sterling was great at the game.  He made it all the way to the 8th inning.
The game went until the 11th inning, but the Mariners won!

6 Month Check-Up

On Thursday Sterling had his 6 month check-up.  Sterling weighed 20 pounds, 11 ounces and was in the 90th percentile for weight.  He measured 2 feet 4.9 inches long and is in the 99th percentile for height.

This little guy brings so much happiness and joy to our family.

Letter D

Preschool continued this week in the Lunde house.

We worked on the letter D, number 4, circle and the color green.   To start the week off, we used dot markers to make the letter D.
Our verse of the week was...
Beckett enjoyed practicing writing in his workbooks.
Beckett made number flashcards and Pierce matched up the correct number of circles with the card.
The boys figured out what two colors made green
and then used the green to paint dinosaurs.
 Beckett's Dinosaur with a Ninja
 Pierce's Dinosaur with a Ninja
Our devotion this week was on doing,
so the boys and I got right to work.  Mommy painted the bathroom and trimmed trees,
while the boys assisted.
In our Bible we read the story about Jesus' disciples.
It was fun to listen to Beckett tell the story to Pierce in his own words.
 D is for Doctor
This week we took Sterling to the doctor's office for his check-up.
Beckett and Pierce were awesome at the appointment.
 D is for Driving
Driving in the rain is so much fun!
 D is for Donuts
The boys and I had a morning date at Market of Choice, where we enjoyed some amazing donuts!
 D is for Daddy
We think we have the best daddy!
Beckett continues to learn and grow each week.  His excitement for learning is such a blessing!

Letter C

This week we worked on the letter C, the number 2, the shape of circle and the color yellow.  Our verse of the week was...
We started off the week with making the letter C with cotton balls,
 to look like clouds.
The boys practiced putting the letters in their names in order, with these blocks.
 Ta-Da!
ABC Mouse is one of their favorite activities each week. Being on the computer is a big reward!
We dipped chalk in water to practice writing our C's, 3's and circles. The water makes the chalk a different consistency.
This week we read the story about Abraham and Sarah in the Bible.  We talked a lot about patience and how hard it can be sometimes.
For fine motor, the boys practiced putting Cheerios on the spaghetti noodles.  Well, Beckett practiced and Pierce ate!
 Chalk Drawing
 Cookie Making
The boys made cookies in the shape of C and 3.
Then we were able to share the cookies with our friends!
 Beckett practiced writing.
We made a sun, out of the two shapes we have learned about.
For science, we did an experiment with celery.  We put the celery in glasses of colored water to see what would happen.
 Pretty!
Cousin Mason came over on Friday!
Cutting starts with a C, so Papa and the boys cut some limbs off of our trees.
Camping also starts with a C.  Here is Sterling in his camping high chair...
The boys have been asking to go camping all this summer.  With everything going on, we have not been able to.  So what better way to celebrate the letter C than by camping in the backyard.
We even got out the fire pit.
 Smores
Family Fun
The boys all slept outside in the tent, while Mommy and Sterling were snug in their beds in the house.
Sterling was not too sure about the whole thing.
 C is for Cooking
Beckett continued to work in his letter book this week.
We finished off the week with a little corn painting.
The boys were not too sure at first.
 But they got into it!
 Messy art is always fun!
Papa and Sterling watched from the sidelines.
Pierce had fun exploring what color red and yellow made.
The letter C was so much fun to learn about!
