Sound Asleep
We stopped swaddling Sterling last week. Now apparently he can sleep anywhere. Today I laid him on the playroom floor, with the boys playing around him. I came back a few minutes later to find him snoozing. What a precious boy!

Grandpa Frank and Grandma Naomi's House
On Saturday we went over to Grandpa Frank and Grandma Naomi's house for a BBQ. They had 6 of their 10 great grandchildren there.
Grandpa Frank had a contest to see who could dig up the most potatoes.
Pierce found some,
but was more interested in the worm he found.
Sterling and Grandma
Sterling and Nana
Look at all those potatoes!
I think Reese found the biggest one!
What a fun treasure hunt!

Aquatic Center
This weekend we went to the Clackamas Aquatic Center.
I'm not sure who had more fun, the boys or Daddy???
Mommy and Sterling watch from the sidelines.
"Hi Mommy!"
Beckett has improved so much this summer with his swimming. He is much more comfortable in the water and loves to try and swim on his own.

All Better
Today Beckett had a follow-up appointment. The surgeon said he looked great and was healing well. Three hernia surgeries in less than 6 months! This kid is a champ!!!

Tillamook
On Saturday we took a day trip to Tillamook. First stop was the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
The boys loved the Tillamook Bus.
The Farmer and His Cow
We took a tour and were able to see part of the cheese making process.
Then we had samples.
Most of us liked the cheese but Pierce was not too sure about it. The first sample was "squeaky cheese" and after that he told us that he did not like cheese!
After the factory, we headed to Rockaway Beach.
Sterling kicked back in the Bumbo Chair. He is able to sit up on his own now, but not for long periods of time.
Beckett found lots of smelly treasures that he insisted on bringing home.
Pierce worked on building sand castles.
It was a chilly, windy day, so we snuggled up to stay warm.
Daddy stayed warm by digging a hole.
Now when I say "hole" I mean a gigantic hole!
These two loved it and did not want to get out. Of course they needed Daddy's help to get out since it was so deep.
It was so great to be back on the beach!
After the beach, we stopped by the Tillamook County Fair.
Smokey the Bear was there.
The boys sat and listened to this cow moo at the them for a long time.
There were so many tractors!
Even a tractor race track.
Beckett learned to milk a cow.
The boys loved being able to hold the baby chicks.
The chicks were 5 days old.
Curious George was even there!
At the end of the fair, the boys went for a pony ride.
Yee-Haw!
