Easter 2013

This morning the boys woke up with an Easter basket outside their doors
and a trail of eggs
leading to their Easter baskets.
Veggie Tales!!
Digging In
Then we got all dressed
and headed to church.
After church we had some family and friends over for an Easter Egg Hunt!  Unfortunately it was raining, so all the adults hid the eggs in the house.
Finding Eggs
Auntie helped Pierce out a little!
Sweet Mason
Little Liam

During the hunt, Pierce just wanted to open the eggs and eat the goodies!  He was content with only a few eggs.
Grandma brought all the boys a little Easter basket.
Look at those blue eyes!
Beckett was king of the hunt!  Grandpa helped him look through all the eggs.
He was SO excited when he found money in a few!  I asked him what he was going to do with his money and he said he was saving it for college.  We have trained him well!!
Love these little guys!
Love these lovely ladies too!
Then it was time to eat!
Yummy!
Some of our sweet friends
Grandma made the kids cupcakes for dessert.
What a day of sweets!
Happy Easter from the Lundes!

We Got Egged!

Tonight we got egged!  We were playing games in the living room, when the doorbell rang.  We went outside to find this note on our doorstep.
Beckett grabbed his Easter basket and headed outside to find the eggs and our sweet friends, The Heath Family.  They were the ones responsible for this fun!
Beckett ran around the yard collecting the eggs
while his friends cheered and directed him from the car!
 What a special treat!
Then he found the empty egg that represented the empty tomb.
Daddy said Beckett could choose one candy since it was almost bedtime.  Well smart little Beckett found the biggest chocolate egg and ate it!  I don't think he had ever had that much chocolate before!!
We love that fun Heath Family!

At the River

This afternoon we headed up the river to do a little fishing.
Beckett made sure to find just the right fishing gear.
 Daddy was quite the teacher
and Beckett caught on very quickly this time.
Pierce sat back and watched the fishing.
Then he found a stick and tried to copy what brother was doing.
 Beckett the Fisherman
Then Beckett gave his fishing pole to Pierce to try out.
Beckett had fun playing in the river.  A few minutes after I took this picture, he feel in and decided it was time to go home!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we took the boys to an Easter Egg Hunt at the shopping center.
They let all the one year olds go first.
Pierce just stood there for a long time.
Then they let the older kids come in.
The boys were not too sure about the mobs of kids (and adults!) fighting for the eggs.
 Fun with Friends
Then it was time to look inside the eggs.
 Yummy...lots of treats!
