Indoor Play

Today it was a rainy coastal day, so all of our fun took place indoors. 

 This morning we rode bikes down in the church gym. 

 Then this afternoon Beckett said he wanted to paint. 

 This was Pierce's first time painting.

 He only tried to eat it a few times,

 but still had so much fun!

 Big Brother showed Little Brother how to use the paint brush

 and how to use his hands. 

 Pierce got the hang of it and got right to work!

Busy Beckett

Beckett has been very busy the last few days.  He put out our bird feeder and filled it up with food. 

 This is a bird feeder that Daddy made when he was in Boy Scouts. 

 Beckett painted some rocks for Nana's yard. 

 He was also busy in the kitchen,

 helping Mommy made some banana bread.

 This morning Beckett wanted to do a project, so here he is with his dot-painters (not sure what they are really called)

 and his sticker project.  What a little cutie!

Family Fun Day

Today was a great day! The morning started off with some train time.

 This is Pierce's favorite spot these days.

 Mommy did a little thrift shop shopping and came home with some treasures. 

 Then it was off to the bowling alley!  Daddy and Beckett showing off their size 11 shoes.

 Pierce thought it looked like lots of fun!

 They had a great prop for the kids to use.  The ramp and the bumpers sure helped their scores!

 The Olson Family joined us for the fun.

 After bowling the boys played some pool. 

 Then we headed to lunch.  You can tell the kids were very excited to be at the restaurant!

 Fries and TV...can't get much better than that!

This evening we went out for Chinese food and had some yummy tea. 

 The day ended with LOTS of books and snuggles!

What a great family fun day!

Fun Afternoon

This afternoon Beckett and I tried a new project.  You mix Kool-Aid, dish soap and a little water together.  Then you start blowing!

 You end up with mountains of yummy smelling bubbles. 

 This activity was LOTS of fun until Beckett sucked the straw, instead of blowing it!  YIKES!!  After doing that two times,

 he said he was ready to do play dough.  This was Pierce's first time playing with play dough.  He loved playing with it, until he ate some! :(

This weekend we went to our little friend, Delaney's 5th birthday party.  

There were so many fun things to do at the party.  Beckett found the "dig pit" and spend most of the time with the trucks.

 and horseshoe toss.

 They even had a pinata, which strong Mr. Beckett knocked down!
