Ocean World

Today we went down to Ocean World, in Crescent City.
Uncle Kelly, Auntie, Uncle Neal, Aunt Tera and Mason joined us.  The boys loved the tide pools.
There were so many things to see and touch.
Pierce was Mr. Adventurous, touching everything that was put in front on him.
It was fun to look at all the undersea creatures and fish.
Mr. Adventurous even touched a shark!
Beckett on the other hand preferred the non-living things. :)
 YIKES!!
The best part of the tour was watching the sea lion and seal show.
 What a fun day!

Christmas 2012

First thing Christmas morning, Beckett got to put out Baby Jesus.  Our nativity was finally complete!
Pierce woke up to find a beautiful new kitchen from Nana.
Beckett thought he needed a helmet to ride in the rocket ship that he got.
 Merry Christmas!!
This was Pierce's first Christmas.  He got to open his stocking for the first time.  He found lots of goodies in there, but I think his favorite was the orange.  He tried to take a bite right out of it. :)
Who needs Santa when you have grandparents?  Grandpa and Grandma brought over some new wheels for the boys.
 Beep Beep!
Beckett calls his Big Wheel a motorcycle.
Now Little Brother has a Beaver hat like Big Brother!
Angry Birds was the thing this year for Beckett!  The funny thing is that we don't have the game or anything that goes along with it.  He only plays it with a few special relatives, when he sees them.  Well Beckett thought he hit the jackpot with all the Angry Birds goodies, especially the umbrella he had been asking for.  The picture is a little blurry, but too cute not to share. :)
Magna Tiles were a favorite!  This was the one time during the morning that Beckett sat and played for awhile with one thing.
 Grandpa, Grandma and the boys
We have a little baller on our hands now!
We ended the day at Grandpa and Grandma's house for dinner.  It was a great Christmas and we were truly blessed not only by the gifts but the time with family and friends.
Oh look!  More Angry Birds!!

Christmas Eve 2012
Grandpa and Grandma got the boys matching Christmas Eve outfits and boy did they look handsome!
This evening we went to the Nazarene Church for their Christmas Eve service.  The kids got up and sang.  How sweet!
After the service we came home and opened some presents.  Beckett was Santa and handed out the gifts.
There were so many fun gifts!
Auntie Tera and Beckett with the artwork that he gave her.
All the cousins got matching jammies.
Our Advent activity was to open up Christmas jammies.  Here they are...

December 23rd

Only a couple more days until Christmas!!!!

This morning we got up and headed to church.
In Beckett's Sunday School class, they were having a birthday party for Baby Jesus.
They even played Pin the Star on the Tree.  Beckett had so much fun!  His Sunday School teachers are amazing.
Our planned Advent activity had been to bake Jesus a birthday cake, but since Beckett already had cake at church we switched the plan.  We decided to go caroling instead.  We went by Grandpa and Grandma's house to sing.

After the caroling, we continued the Advent activity by taking change to the Salvation Army change collector.
Beckett wanted to make sure the money stayed in there. :)

Beckett opened the Advent stocking this morning and the activity was to go to the Azalea Park Lights.
 Lundes 2012
 Lundes 2010
We met Uncle Neal, Auntie Tera and Mason at the park.
Beckett and Mason loved all the lights,
even though it was a rainy, cold night.
We all warmed up with some hot cocoa.
Auntie and Beckett took a break in the Capella By the Sea.
The boys played in the nativity scene.
 Sweet Cousins
Beckett was excited to use his Beaver umbrella.
 Precious Little Ones
Beckett took in all the lights.
We ended the night with a little visit with Saint Nicholas in the park gazebo.
