Early Easter Celebration

Grandpa and Grandma invited us over for an early Easter celebration.  The boys were excited to open their Easter baskets.
Today Grandpa set the record of someone, other than Mommy and Daddy, holding Pierce for over an hour!  Pierce was very content with him.  Maybe it was the new bunny hat. :)
Beckett and Grandma were very busy in the kitchen making tie-dye eggs.
 Great times!
Grandpa and Pierce looked on as...
Grandma and Beckett put the final touches on the eggs.
After dinner Beckett went on an Easter egg hunt.
Here he is eating all the goodies inside the eggs...
Happy Pierce had fun watching all the Easter festivities.
 Happy Easter from the Lundes!

Braving the Elements

It has been a rainy week.  Today Beckett and Momma braved the elements and went outside.  It was still raining a bit and SUPER windy.  Today the wind got up to 60 mph.
But the rain and wind did not stop Beckett from having some fun!

Science Time

This afternoon Beckett and Momma had a little fun with some science activities from Pinterest.  We took a pan full of baking soda and squirted vinegar into it.
Then we decided to make "Elephant Toothpaste," which I also found on Pinterest.

Movie and Popcorn

What could be a better way to spend a Friday night, then popcorn and a movie with great friends?

New Neighbors

We have meet a wonderful new family that moved into our neighborhood.  Two of their kids are the same age as Beckett and Pierce.

Here is Pierce and Giana kicking back...
Of course the siblings wanted to get in on the picture too!
The kids had fun this morning make some Easter cards.
Of course the boys needed to take a break to play trains!

Day Full of Friends

This morning some our friends came over and played.  Beckett, Lauren, and Claire had lots of fun with the playdough.
Even Pierce got in on the friend fun, getting lots of snuggles from Lauren.
This evening more friends came over.  Josiah and Beckett wore their matching jammies.
They even wore matching bibs.  What cutie pies!!

Happy Birthday, Grandpa!

Yesterday was Grandpa's birthday.
Beckett was excited to give Grandpa his present.  He was so excited that he tried to open it for him!
Beckett had to try out the gift, which was a chipping net.  He ran to "his room" at Grandpa and Grandma's house and grabbed his plastic golf clubs.
We all enjoyed a yummy peach pie for birthday dessert.  Yum Yum!

Marcie and Caylee's Visit

Our great friends, Marcie and Caylee, came down to Brookings for a visit and to meet Pierce.
The boys LOVED having the girls in town for a couple of days and made sure they got a lot of play time in with them.
Beckett learned how to fly like an airplane, which lasted only for a few seconds before he would say, "DOWN! DOWN!"
Pierce got a little tummy time in, while they were here.

Peep-tastic Day

Daddy's work is having a Peep Contest, so the Lundes worked all day on our Peep creations.
Beckett had to stop and make sure the Peeps tasted all right!
 Back to Business!
Finished Project
At Christmas time each year, Daddy's work goes around to all their stores on the "Happy Bus" and delivers gift certificates and candy canes to all the store employees.  We made our own version of the "Ha-Peep Bus."  We cut out pictures of the guys from this years trip and pasted them onto the peeps.
One project was not enough.  We headed to the kitchen and got to work on another.

Church Playdate

This morning we headed to the church gym for a playdate.  The weather has been cold and raining, so it was nice to have a warm, dry place to play.

Beckett played hockey,
 rode bikes (mainly other peoples),
 bounced in the bouncy house,
and had a great time with his fabulous friends!!

Proverb

Proverb 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Reading the Bible

This morning I was finishing up my bible study at the kitchen table, when down the hall came Beckett carrying his kid's bible.  He said he wanted to read his bible too.
