Car Wash

This weekend Beckett helped his dad wash the car and what a helper he was!
Beckett was in charge of the bucket.  He made sure to splash the water around REALLY well and mix the soap in.
By the end, he had a Santa Claus beard and a big smile on his face!

Sunriver

We just got back from a week in Sunriver.  Beware there are A LOT of pictures!!
We rented a house with Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie Carolyn, Auntie Tera, and Uncle Neal.  Baby Mason decided not to join us this weekend and stayed put in his momma's tummy.
The real reason we went to Sunriver was that Grant was putting on the Ray's Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament, so we decided to make a vacation out of the trip.  Grant did a wonderful job on the tournament and helped raise a lot of money for the foundation.  Plus he was a great emcee.
Auntie and I helped in the morning at the tournament.  As you can see, we were very busy working!
Grandpa and Grandma golfed in the tournament.
Beckett stopped by to show his dad support, wearing his cute little golf outfit.
After the dinner there was a nice reception, dinner, and auction.
Once the tournament was over, it was vacation time!  We spent an afternoon at an indoor pool, where Beckett loved the slide and kiddie pool.
This is Beckett's new face he gives us all the time.
Beckett went in the big pool with Uncle Neal and Auntie Tera, but it was a little deep and cold.
While we were in Sunriver, we did lots of BBQing,
playing games (really, is "Whoa" a word in Scrabble?!  Apparently so!),
hanging around the house,
and riding bikes.  We rented a bike trailer, so Beckett could join us on the bike rides.
Beckett was not too interested in the bike trailer, but really wanted to play with our bikes.
When he saw a bike his size, he REALLY wanted it.  He still has a bit longer before he can ride a bike that size!
On Sunday, we celebrated Father's Day.  Grandma and Mom surprised Granpa and Dad with a guided fly fishing trip for the day.  This was the first time either of them had gone fishing and they caught over 20 fish!
But to their surprise the guide told them they had to let them go...catch and release.  They came home empty handed, but had the pictures to prove they caught some fish.  Man, don't those fish look yummy!
 Happy Father's Day!
A few friends came and visited us, during the week.  Here are three roomies from Corvallis and 2 1/2 babies.
The Jensen and Rager families were staying in Sunriver, so we had lots of time to visit and play with them.
Beckett and Everett are only a few month apart in age.  They were quite the buddies by the last night.  The boys had fun, whether it was hangin out on the deck or ...
sharing accesories.  Everett really wanted Beckett's Beaver hat! :)
The weather was beautiful and we spent the rest of the trip at the outdoor pool.
Beckett LOVED the water and showed off all his new swimming skills.
Grandma was quite the trooper and followed Beckett around the pool all day, everyday. :)
Overall it was a nice, relaxing trip to Central Oregon.

OSU Campus

On our recent trip to Portland, we made a detour and went to Corvallis to hang out on OSU's campus.
Beckett had lots of fun trying things on in the bookstore.  We settled on an OSU baseball hat.  The wig was a little much!
After that many hours in the car, all Beckett wanted to do was RUN!
Beckett has a few years to go, but he is already fitting in with the campus scene.

Trip to Portland

Beckett's Uncle Eric graduated high school this past weekend, so we made a trip to Portland. To celebrate Uncle Eric choosing the BEST Oregon school, Beckett wore his OSU hat!

Uncle Brett, Uncle Eric, and Dad at the ceremony.
While up in Portland, we celebrated Nana's birthday.
All the kids came together and had dinner together.
Beckett even helped Nana open her presents.  What a helper!!

Hipsters and Pink Socks

Before we left Portland, we had breakfast with our great friends, The Phipps Family!  We tried a fun new resturant downtown, which was a little different than our local Brooking's resturants.  Our baby table did not quite fit in with all the hipsters and our waiter with pink socks.
Beckett had fun playing with Baby Nolan and even tried to rock him to sleep.
 The guys and their babies
After breakfast, we took a stroll down NW 23rd.  It was so nice to catch up with old friends and enjoy the city.  Those guys look pretty happy to be pushing the strollers! :)

Great Grandpa's Little Helper

Beckett is quite the little helper these days!  Today we had lunch at Great Grandpa Frank and Grandma Naomi's house.  Grandpa Frank saved the watering until we got there, so Beckett could help. And what a helper he is!!

Official Announcement

The Lunde's are expecting baby #2!

Today we went and had our first doctor's appointment.  For this baby we have decided to go to Grants Pass for the delivery.  The doctor is projecting a due date of January 9th, but according to my calculations the date should be December 31st.  We will see who will be right?!?

This pregnancy I found out I was expecting at 5 weeks.  It feels like we have been keeping this secret FOREVER!!   So it feels great to finally share the exciting news.
We will keep you all posted!

Beckett and Friends

Another gorgeous day in Brookings, so up the river we went!
The boys were very excited about all the waterdogs they found.
Even Evie mustered up the courage to hold one.  After that he was hooked!
Silas and two waterdogs posing for a picture.
 Slippery little fellows...
Beckett is still a little unsure of walking on the river rocks.  Today he resorted back to crawling, since the walking was tough.  But good ol' Holly saved the day and helped him walk along the bank! :)
