We just got back from a week in Sunriver. Beware there are A LOT of pictures!!
We rented a house with Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie Carolyn, Auntie Tera, and Uncle Neal. Baby Mason decided not to join us this weekend and stayed put in his momma's tummy.
The real reason we went to Sunriver was that Grant was putting on the Ray's Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament, so we decided to make a vacation out of the trip. Grant did a wonderful job on the tournament and helped raise a lot of money for the foundation. Plus he was a great emcee.
Auntie and I helped in the morning at the tournament. As you can see, we were very busy working!
Grandpa and Grandma golfed in the tournament.
Beckett stopped by to show his dad support, wearing his cute little golf outfit.
After the dinner there was a nice reception, dinner, and auction.
Once the tournament was over, it was vacation time! We spent an afternoon at an indoor pool, where Beckett loved the slide and kiddie pool.
This is Beckett's new face he gives us all the time.
Beckett went in the big pool with Uncle Neal and Auntie Tera, but it was a little deep and cold.
While we were in Sunriver, we did lots of BBQing,
playing games (really, is "Whoa" a word in Scrabble?! Apparently so!),
hanging around the house,
and riding bikes. We rented a bike trailer, so Beckett could join us on the bike rides.
Beckett was not too interested in the bike trailer, but really wanted to play with our bikes.
When he saw a bike his size, he REALLY wanted it. He still has a bit longer before he can ride a bike that size!
On Sunday, we celebrated Father's Day. Grandma and Mom surprised Granpa and Dad with a guided fly fishing trip for the day. This was the first time either of them had gone fishing and they caught over 20 fish!
But to their surprise the guide told them they had to let them go...catch and release. They came home empty handed, but had the pictures to prove they caught some fish. Man, don't those fish look yummy!
Happy Father's Day!
A few friends came and visited us, during the week. Here are three roomies from Corvallis and 2 1/2 babies.
The Jensen and Rager families were staying in Sunriver, so we had lots of time to visit and play with them.
Beckett and Everett are only a few month apart in age. They were quite the buddies by the last night. The boys had fun, whether it was hangin out on the deck or ...
sharing accesories. Everett really wanted Beckett's Beaver hat! :)
The weather was beautiful and we spent the rest of the trip at the outdoor pool.
Beckett LOVED the water and showed off all his new swimming skills.
Grandma was quite the trooper and followed Beckett around the pool all day, everyday. :)
Overall it was a nice, relaxing trip to Central Oregon.
