New Year's Eve Morning

Today is New Year's Eve and so we started off the festivities by bundling up and going for a morning stroll.

 

 Daddy thought walking the steep hill to the beach might make Mommy go into labor, but it did not work! :(

 Then we had a delicious breakfast, prepared by Daddy and Beckett.

Beckett loves to help in the kitchen.

Playdate at the Church

The last few days have been raining, so Beckett has not had much of a chance to ride his new trike.  On Thursday we headed down to church to have a playdate in the church gym.  Beckett got lots of trike riding in!

 Beckett played a little basketball, while we were there.

 And of course, he had to try out the other kids' toys!

A Few More Christmas Pictures

After Christmas we had more family come to town.  It was great to see everyone!

 Beckett's Nana and Uncle Eric came the day after Christmas to celebrate with us.  Here is the stylin' jersey Uncle Eric got Beckett.

 Nana got Beckett a train table, which the boys had lots of fun putting together.

 Beckett also got an art easel for Christmas.  He loves to color on it!

 Now everyone is gone and things have quieted down at the Lunde house.  We are patiently awaiting the arrival of Baby Pierce.  It looks like we might just be having a baby born in 2012, if he doesn't get here soon!

Merry Christmas from the Lundes

This morning we woke up bright and early to start opening presents.  Beckett's first present was a Learning Tower, from Papa Dan and Grandma Donna.

 The Learning Tower lets Beckett safely be at the counter top level and help in the kitchen. 

Once it wasn't too early, we invited Grandpa, Grandma, and Uncle Brent over for breakfast and presents. 

 Beckett played Santa handing out presents. 

 Beckett even got a few presents of his own.  Here is Beckett with his present from Uncle Brent.  Uncle Brent is a great wrapper!

 Beckett had to check out what he gave Uncle Brent. 

 Beckett is a great gift giver.  He made this present for Grandpa and Grandma. 

 Beckett opened up a new trike.

Christmas Eve

This evening we went to church for a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. 

 This picture is a little blurry, but how precious are the kids listening to the children's message! :)

 After church, we headed back to Grandpa and Grandma's house to open stockings.

Advent Day 24 Activity- Open Jammies

Our final advent activity was opening our Christmas jammies.

Advent Day 23 Activity- Azalea Park Light Festival

Our advent activity this evening was going to Azalea Park to see the lights.

 Grandma and Grandpa met us at the park.

 There was so much to see, there was even a manger scene.

 Beckett and Daddy in their matching hats.

 Only 1 1/2 more days until Christmas!!

Advent Day 22 Activity- Read the Christmas Story

Today our activity was reading the Christmas Story in the Bible.  Beckett got out his toddler Bible (as he calls it "bubble") and Daddy read to him about Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus. 

Advent Day 21 Activity- Breakfast for Dinner

Tonight our advent activity was having breakfast for dinner.  Beckett and Daddy made pancakes from scratch.

Advent Day 20 Activity- Christmas Movie

Tonight our advent activity was having popcorn and watching a Christmas movie.

Advent Day 19 Acitivty- Give to the Food Bank

For our activity today, we headed to our favorite grocery store...Ray's! 

 We picked up a bag of groceries to take to the local food bank.

Advent Day 18- Nativity Scene

Right before starting our advent activity for the day, Beckett came out of his room carrying ALL of his swim trunks.  Then he went to the back of the house again and returned with Daddy's swim trunks. 

Here are the boys dressed and ready for the activity, which had NOTHING to do with swimming! :)

Our activity was coloring and gluing the nativity scene.
