1 Year Check Up

Today Sterling had his one year check-up. He weighs 25 pounds, 11 ounces and is in the 96th percentile for weight.  He is 31.25 inches tall and is in the 95th percentile for height. 

I talked to the doctor about some fussiness lately and a tooth I saw coming in way back in his mouth. She discovered that the poor little guy has his 2 year molars coming in!!!!

Which he is not too happy about!.  Other than that, the doctor says he is perfect!!!

Sterling Turned One

Over the weekend, we celebrated our sweet Sterling turning one.  We are waiting to get the photos from the party back from the photographer, but here are a few sneak peeks from the cake event.

Needless to say, I think he loved the cake!

Letter S

Last week we worked on the letter S.  Our verse of the week was..

 Our devotion was S is for Singing.

 Beckett used his Leap Reader to practice writing the letter S.

 We focused on the number 19.

We used our Magic School Bus kit to work on some experiments.

We took various liquids and made solids with them. 

 We made milk goop, slime and a bouncy ball.

I love to watch Beckett help teach his brother.  The sweetest thing!

These two made a little picnic for a snack one morning.
