More Beach Time

You would never know by the weather that it was January.  The sun has been out and shining.  We have taken advantage of this gorgeous weather, by spending lots of time at the beach.

 This morning we met a few friends for a play date.

 Most of the time Beckett was deep in a hole he was digging, so I didn't get very many pictures of him.

This afternoon we headed to the beach, to enjoy the gorgeous weather.

2 Year Check-Up

Yesterday Pierce had his 2 year check up with the doctor.  The doctor said he looks great!  He is in the 75th percentile for both height and weight.  

So blessed to have a healthy kiddo.

Weekend Fun

Pierce was ready for a Saturday morning run.

 We went to a birthday party at the movie theater and watched Despicable Me 2.  It was a big moment!  Beckett sat through the whole movie.  We only had to leave the theater one time for a "scary" part.  Apparently Pierce did not think it was scary since he was laughing at the monster. :)

Weekend Fun

This weekend we had lots of fun.  Nana came down for Pierce's birthday, so the boys had lots of fun with her.  They made cookies together.

One afternoon we headed to the beach,

 with all of our sand toys.

 Beckett and Nana searched for driftwood,

 Beckett practiced "skiing" on a sand hill,

 Ellie lounged in the sun,

 Pierce filled buckets with sand

 and helped Daddy make a castle.

 We celebrated a late Christmas with Cousin Mason.  The boys got these cool handmade blankets. 

 Beckett was right them to help Mason open his gifts.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Pierce!

Pierce's Sesame Street Bash

Today we celebrated Pierce's 2nd Birthday 

with a Sesame Street Party

  that was held on Pierce Street.

 Mommy made the family all Sesame Street shirts.

 When guests came, they signed a book for Pierce.

 Can you believe Pierce is already 2?!?

 We had 14 centers set up around the house.  There was Oscar's Tattoo Parlor,

 when the kids got character tattoos.

 which was basically like a cake walk, but with cookies. 

 Daddy made an awesome pinata for the party.

 Pierce pulled the first string.

 After several strings were pulled,

 there was only one string left.  They pulled and ...

 it was a candy explosion!

 Afterwards it was cupcake time.

 Big Brother was right there to help.

 During the party, Pierce asked to brush his teeth.  Maybe all that sugar was getting to him???

 We had so many wonderful family members and friends come to the party.

 Such a fun party favor that the parents loved!
