Vacation Pictures Overload- BEWARE!!!

Our Sunriver vacation finally came to an end today. 

 While we were there we had some sweet friends come and visit us. 

 There was tons of bike riding. 

 When we went on long rides, the boys rode in the bike trailer. 

But when we were at the house they rode their bikes around the neighborhood. 

 Grandpa found a two-wheeler bike in the garage

 and that is ALL Beckett wanted to ride. 

 Daddy's back was a little sore by the end of the trip!

 The weather was beautiful,

 so we spent a lot of time outside playing.

 Nana brought the boys a beach ball sprinkler

 and boy, was that fun!

 It was a special time for the family to be together

 and create memories. 

 While Daddy helped put on a work golf tournament, the boys stopped by the course to check it all out. 

 One day Beckett went to a pool party and he was so excited to be in a "big boy pool". 

 

Many hours were spent at the SHARC, 

 which is a huge water center. 

 The sand area was a favorite.

 Back at the house we had a hot tub, which Beckett thought was his personal swimming pool. 

 Yay for Sunriver!!

Nana's Birthday

While we were in Sunriver, we were able to celebrate Nana's birthday.  Grandma and Beckett baked a cake

 and Nana and the boys decorated it. 

 What a beautiful cake!!

Sunriver- Day 8

Today we started with a hike

 

 along the Deschutes River to Benham Falls.

 Pierce kicked back and enjoyed the ride.

 

We saw a few interesting things along the way...

 What is this?!?  There is a chipmunk under the top one!

 The hike was a little longer than we had anticipated,

 but we made it!!

 Then it was time to hike out, UP HILL!!

 We enjoyed a picnic lunch afterwards

 and the boys played and played.

 This afternoon we headed into Bend for a few MUCH needed hair cuts. 

 The salon specialized in children's hair cuts.

 Pierce was fine with it as long as he could see big brother.

 They even got a special treat at the end...lollipops!!

 Since the boys did such a great job at the hair salon, we took them to an indoor play center

 where there was SO much to do. 

 Beckett LOVED,

 LOVED,

 LOVED the bounce houses and slides. 

 Pierce found plenty of toys to play with.

 and books to read.
