Always Watching

This picture says so many things and I can't help but smile when I see it.  What a good reminder of how our kids are always watching and copying what we do.  I feel so blessed to have a wonderful husband and am proud to have my children follow in his footsteps.

Afternoon Hike

Today was a picture perfect coastal day!  We decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and go on a hike.  From our deck, we look at Harris Beach Butte. 

 So today we went on a hike to the top of the butte.

 for some fun in the sand.

Little Pierce is getting a new tooth in this week and it has been rough!

 I found Beckett in the garage with his fishing pole.  He asked to go fishing, but I told him that he would have to wait for Daddy since I was not a good fisherman.  Beckett replied, "Don't worry, Momma, I can show you how to do it."  What a sweetie!

Tonight we celebrated Grandpa's birthday.  Beckett was quite the helper, assisting in the opening of gifts.

This morning Beckett worked on an Easter craft.

 We took cut up tissue paper and glued it on to a wooden cross.

Two More States

This year one of our family goals is to visit four new states.  After our recent trip, we were able to color in two states on our family map...Illinois and Wisconsin.

Grandma Naomi's 90th Birthday Party

On Saturday we went to Great Grandma Naomi's 90th Birthday Party.

 The party was at the golf course

 and was decorated beautifully.

 When guests arrived they wrote down a memory they had with Naomi

 and then added their event to a timeline of her life.  It was interesting to learn about all the fun details of her life.  My favorite was that she sold her car and then bought a fur coat with the money! :)

 At the party there was a slide show playing of pictures of Naomi's life.

 What a great party!  Naomi is such a blessing to our family.  She is truly a great example of how to be a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  We all love her very much!
