Projects Galore

The rain is back!  So today we stayed inside and did a few projects.

Our first project was color sorting and making a candy corn.
What made me laugh was that out of the three colors, the only color Beckett knew was Beaver Orange.  Not just orange, but BEAVER Orange. :)
Our second project was decorating a few pumpkins.  Daddy was not home to help with carving, so we decided to make our pumpkins sparkle.  We coated the pumpkins with glue and then poured on some Epsom Salt.
 Adding a few more sprinkles...
 So Pretty
The last project was dinner.  We made our own pizzas, including the crust and sauce.  YUMMY :)

Summer in October?!?

Today you would have thought it was summer.  The sun was shining and we all had on our tshirts and shorts.

What better way to enjoy a sunny October day, than at the beach?!?
I love the serious faces the Lunde Boys have in these pictures.

Pumpkin Patch

Today the boys put on their matching pumpkin shirts and
headed out to the pumpkin patch.
Pierce found a nice spot in the middle of the patch to play,
while the big kids hunted for the perfect pumpkins.
Beckett found a few little ones, just for little Pierce.
Pierce was so content playing with the pumpkins and his friends.
Little Lunde Family, minus Daddy who was hard at work at the office
We did not realize how muddy the pumpkin patch was going to be.  The rain from the other day had soaked the ground and we all found ourselves sinking in the mud. :)
We wanted to find the biggest pumpkin to bring home to Daddy.  I think we found it.

 Happy Fall
Mr. Pierce decided to taste the dirt and by the look on his face, I think he liked it.
Liam was wondering why Pierce was so filthy.
Thanks for the cute shirts, Grandma.
When it was time to go, we loaded up the wagon and headed out.  One of our little friends helped Beckett pull the heavy wagon.
Pierce was ready to go home and take a bath.

Brothers

Pierce is getting to a fun age, where he is trying to play with Beckett.  We have nicknamed him Pierce-zilla, when it come to the train table.  He is always trying to break it apart.
This picture looks like Beckett is hugging Pierce, but he is actually nudging him away from his trains.
Pierce just wants to join in the fun, but sometimes breaks the things that brother is working on.
Look at that innocent face. :)
Sharing is definitely something we are working on.  It is a little hard for Beckett, that is until he wants Pierce to share with him.  Here are the boys sharing Pierce's favorite snack...Cheerios.

Dinner with Friends

Last night we had dinner with some friends from church.  It gave us a chance to say goodbye to our friend, Vince, who is moving to California soon.
The kids had a great time and were so well behaved during dinner.  They had their own little table, which Beckett loved.
What cutie pies. :)

Jammin'

Apples to Cider

The other day we went to a friend's house and picked apples.
Then this afternoon we took tyh apples to the Chetco Museum for their Cider on Sunday event.
We watched the volunteers use an old fashion apple press on our apples.
Beckett did not want to get close, so Mommy tried to explain from a distance what they were doing.
 Fun at the Museum
Beckett kept asking where all his apples went.  Here they are...

Halloween Crafts

While Auntie Tera and Mason were visiting, we did a few little craft projects.
 The kids painted pumpkins
and then did their hand prints for the stem and leaves.
We also made bats, using our hand prints.
Happy Halloween.

Harvest Party at the Port

The Port of Brookings had a Harvest Party today.  The boys and I headed down there with Grandma.
Each of the boys got a pumpkin.
There was a fun bouncy house, which Beckett enjoyed.
Pierce had fun watching Beckett bounce around.
Mommy got in on the fun and participated in the apple eating contest.
Auntie Tera and Mason came down for the Costume Parade.
Beckett and Pierce were train conductors.
Daddy made Beckett his own train.
Two of the cutest train conductors I have even seen. :)
